Kolkata 2 Dhaka provides cross-border shopping and delivery services from India to Bangladesh. This Shipping Policy explains how shipping timelines, charges, and delivery processes work at different stages of the order lifecycle.
1. Shipping Within India (Seller to Kolkata Warehouse)
- In most cases, the quoted product price includes shipping within India, as charged by the seller.
- However, in some situations, shipping charges may appear separately at the checkout stage.
- If shipping is added at checkout, the additional cost will be added to the quoted price and must be paid by the customer.
- Our estimated delivery timeline is approximately 20 days, which includes:
- Around 4 days to receive the product from the seller within India, and
- Remaining time for export-import processing and delivery to Bangladesh.
- If the seller delays dispatch, overall delivery time may increase accordingly.
2. Export–Import & Cross-Border Shipping (India to Bangladesh)
- Once goods are received at our Kolkata warehouse, export processing generally takes 3–4 working days.
- After export, it may take approximately 8–12 days for:
- Import customs clearance in Bangladesh, and
- The shipment to reach the “Ready for Delivery” stage.
Important Conditions Affecting Timeline
The above timeline applies only if the following are fully operational:
- Indian and Bangladeshi Customs authorities
- C&F agents of both countries
- Commercial and/or cargo flights
Delivery timelines may be extended due to:
- Human-made or political disruptions
- Pandemic-related restrictions
- Natural disasters
- Flight unavailability or cargo congestion
- Governmental or regulatory actions
In case of any unexpected public incident, hazard, or force majeure event, compensation (if applicable) shall be handled strictly as per the policy of the concerned party or parties (such as airlines, logistics providers, or authorities).
3. Shipping Inside Bangladesh (Last-Mile Delivery)
- Once an order is marked Ready for Delivery, delivery within Bangladesh typically takes:
- 24 to 72 hours, depending on destination and courier availability.
- Delivery timelines may vary for remote or hard-to-reach areas.
4. Estimated Delivery Disclaimer
- All delivery timelines provided are approximate estimates, not guaranteed delivery dates.
- Kolkata 2 Dhaka shall not be held responsible for delays caused by sellers, customs authorities, airlines, courier partners, or circumstances beyond our control.
5. Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for:
- Clearing all applicable dues before delivery
- Being available to receive delivery
