Welcome to Kolkata 2 Dhaka (“we,” “our,” “us”). By accessing our website or placing an order, you (“customer,” “you”) agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services.

1. Our Service

Kolkata 2 Dhaka provides cross-border shopping and delivery services, helping customers purchase products from Indian brands and receive them in Bangladesh. We manage sourcing, handling, customs clearance, and last-mile delivery through trusted partners.

2. Order Confirmation & Delivery Timeline

  • Orders are confirmed only after payment as per the selected payment method.
  • Delivery timelines are estimated and may vary due to customs procedures, logistics, or regulatory requirements.
  • Once an order reaches the “Ready for Delivery” stage, customers are expected to complete delivery promptly.

3. Delivery & Payment Conditions

General Rule

  • Delivery will not be processed unless all applicable dues are fully settled, subject to the payment method chosen.

Cash on Delivery (COD)

  • Customers may choose Cash on Delivery (COD) where available.
  • If a customer requests us to hold a parcel at the Ready for Delivery stage, all outstanding amounts must be cleared in advance, even if the order was placed under COD.
  • Parcels will not be held under unpaid COD conditions.

B2B Clients

  • Full advance payment is mandatory for all B2B clients.
  • Any outstanding balance, charges, or penalties must be fully cleared before delivery or release of goods.
  • No delivery or holding facility will be provided for B2B orders with pending dues.

4. Customs Clearance & Parcel Holding Policy

  • After customs clearance, we generally do not provide any facility to hold parcels.
  • Once an order is marked Ready for Delivery, customers must:
  • Clear all dues (if applicable), and
  • Accept delivery within the allowed timeframe.

5. Holding, Delay & Penalty Charges

If a customer delays payment or delivery after the parcel is Ready for Delivery, the following penalties apply:

  1. After 5 Days (Unpaid Hold)
  • A 5% penalty will be added to the total outstanding due amount.
  1. Next 7 Calendar Days (Continued Non-Payment)
  • An additional 5% penalty will be applied on the previous due amount plus the earlier penalty.
  1. Beyond 30 Calendar Days
  • If the customer fails to take delivery within 30 days from the Ready for Delivery date, Kolkata 2 Dhaka reserves the right to:
  • Cancel the order without any refund, and
  • Initiate legal action to recover dues, penalties, storage costs, or damages, where applicable.

6. Refunds, Returns & Cancellations

  • As most orders are pre-orders and cross-border, refunds, returns, exchanges, or cancellations are generally not allowed.
  • In rare cases where Kolkata 2 Dhaka cancels an order for operational reasons, a refund or credit note may be issued at our discretion.

7. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate personal and delivery information
  • Completing payments within the stipulated timelines
  • Responding promptly to delivery communications
  • Complying with customs, import rules, and local regulations

Failure to meet these responsibilities may result in penalties, delivery delays, or order cancellation.

8. Limitation of Liability

Kolkata 2 Dhaka shall not be liable for:

  • Delays caused by customs, government authorities, or logistics partners
  • Issues arising from incorrect information provided by the customer
  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Any disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Bangladesh.

10. Changes to Terms & Conditions

We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our website or services indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
